Not really. Mahrez won the league and played in the CL for Leicester. Not to mention he won the player of the year.

Sterling and Stones were both young when they signed 21-22. Signing youngsters who are a decent punt are fine for the squad. Someone who is 25+ and hasn't done anything in their career is much different. We need quality as that has clearly been lacking this season. Appreciate the dig at Liverpool though.

Walker had years of experience both in Europe and internationally.

Barry was signed at a time where we wanted to establish ourselves in both the league and CL. He was a great servant for the club but was nowhere near good enough for a team with aspirations to win for the CL.

Walker didn’t make his CL debut until the season before we signed him, same with Mahrez.

i can see where you’re coming from, but Wirtz who everybody wants has a years UCL experience, if we were after a player exactly like MGW that played for Dortmund or something everyone would be well on board.

Forrest are in the shout for top 4 for a reason.

Wolves also have a 10% sell on clause.

The fee Forest are going to want it is going to be astronomical.

The Rodri incident still sticks in the throat, but we are probably losing the best shithousery player of recent years in Bernardo, it’s a requisite at times…

Personally Watkins would be my shout, probably around the same price to boot, he also brings more goal threat

I think if Benfica offer up the £15.6m remaining in his contract as a transfer fee, I think he will leave.

We will just call it quits and break even.

I just don't think Bernardo will get the minutes next season to justify £300k a week, it's the same with Grealish and De Bruyne.

I think City want them all off the wage bill and go again.

Watkins is a good shout but the issue he would have here is the same thing that's apparently causing him unrest at Villa - he wouldn't be the starting striker.

I can see us going into next season with a front 3 of Marmoush, Haaland and one other (Doku/Foden).

If Bernardo goes I’d still like us to take up the option of Nico Williams while is release clause is £51.6m.
