So you got two in the last decade..This club is highly successful at transfers then...just the point I was makingNunes says hi
You forgot to mention MendyNo he’s the most recent Santa Cruz says hi
It's out of the Premier League's hands. The decision is up to the Independent panel.Wharton, Eze and Livramento would work for HG. Blows quite alot of the budget though so I think we use what we have in Foden, O'Reilly and Lewis (to a lesser extent) and see what we can promote.
Tough calls this summer, and alot of work to do. We also STILL have the charges hanging around - I wonder how long the PL can keep this dragging on and seeding players minds as a result
Bluemoan for a reason. So you got two in the last decade..This club is highly successful at transfers then...just the point I was making
Sorry - yes. But the point stands - it's hanging around like a bad smell still and has to be in players minds when talking to us.It's out of the Premier League's hands. The decision is up to the Independent panel.
I know mate, just that’s I don’t rate many we have signed lately, Nunes, Phillips, not a fan of Dok as he continues to make all the wrong decisions. It’s a massive drop from when we signed the likes of the silvas, Stirling etcSo you got two in the last decade..This club is highly successful at transfers then...just the point I was making
I think the point is that we were very good at unearthing genuine talent but that no longer seems to be the caseI know mate, just that’s I don’t rate many we have signed lately, Nunes, Phillips, not a fan of Dok as he continues to make all the wrong decisions. A tad harsh on Doku I feel. He's been really good past few weeks.I know mate, just that’s I don’t rate many we have signed lately, Nunes, Phillips, not a fan of Dok as he continues to make all the wrong decisions. It’s a massive drop from when we signed the likes of the silvas, Stirling etc
Not really £50mill spent now nearly 2 seasons and very little improvement.A tad harsh on Doku I feel. He's been really good past few weeks.
How can you know when we’ve hardly seen those signed in January, like Echeverri, Reis, Khusonov, Gonzalez, except for Marmoush who looks excellent, and you haven’t seen who we are signing in the summer and how they fit into Peps plan alongside academy players like Bobb and O’Reilly. Another daft statement.I think the point is that we were very good at unearthing genuine talent but that no longer seems to be the case
Ok.Not really £50mill spent now nearly 2 seasons and very little improvement.
Yeah sums it up well. I agree budI think the point is that we were very good at unearthing genuine talent but that no longer seems to be the case
Don't try and get personal. As for parrots they can only repeat what they are toldHow can you know when we’ve hardly seen those signed in January, like Echeverri, Reis, Khusonov, Gonzalez, except for Marmoush who looks excellent, and you haven’t seen who we are signing in the summer and how they fit into Peps plan alongside academy players like Bobb and O’Reilly. This question was put to Earling Haaland when he signed his 10 year contract, he said he was pretty chilled out about it and it didn't bother the players signing in January or Pep signing a contract extension.Sorry - yes. But the point stands - it's hanging around like a bad smell still and has to be in players minds when talking to us.
I agree with all of that (except solanke went to spurs from a better team!).£100m for this guy cant be true. He's just not that good. I get Dominic Solanke vibes from this. Has a good season or two then not the same player when moving up to a better team.
We have signed Haaland and Gvardiol and Alvarez fairly recently.I think the point is that we were very good at unearthing genuine talent but that no longer seems to be the case
City 10000% didn't "unearth" Haaland or Josko. They were already well known names in EuropeWe have signed Haaland and Gvardiol and Alvarez fairly recently.
The only really poor signing we have made recently has been Phillips, though Nunes hasn't generally shone.
PLayers often take time to settle.
Doku Savio, Nico, Reiss, Khus,Echeverri are all very young, personally I think they may well show up to be excellent. Marmoush is hardly old.
Rodriguez, Mahrez, Bernardo, Sterling,Gundo all took quite a while to settle and they had a more settled team to adjust to.
We haven't been great this season and a little lack of planning around midfield has probably aggravated this but there is no reason to be pessimistic about our general record on player recruitment.
