Most annoying football cliche?

"The football club"...he knows 'the football club', it's a massive game for 'the football club', players who wanna play for 'the football club'

football pundits are cliche. Certainly Carra and Neville. Old school talking about the big man up front or playing with your heart on your sleeve. Everything they say is cliche.

And whilst they're doing that, City (Or Arsenal/other clubs) are using false 9's inverted FBs, CBs in midfield, midfield box 4...

And you know why? These pundits havent got a scooby on what they're seeing.

Whilst player is rolling round on the floor looking to get another player booked "he's not that sort of player.." Yes he fucking is.

See also "he's an honest player"

See also Harry Kane
Let's be honest, how they always skirt around blatant dives generally. "Fernandes seems to have taken a knock there. He seems to be in some discomfort."

It seems like 'seems' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

The more recent addition is :

- Nothing really in it that challenge
- VAR will have a look at that
