People in all walks of life not just football who use 'bigger than' are all saddo wankers.

As for this thread got to be the dips, such a shame they shared 6 (six) Prem titles with us, most of the time by finishing lower than second and never actually got to see it lifted.
 
People here in Coventry fancy their club as a big fish. In their 140 years of history, they had 34ish in the top flight, albeit a respectable 34 year stint. That's it, one time. About 25% of their history in the top division. Huge, therefore.

90 % of Aston Villas trophies were won over 100 years ago. They've also been consistently below us in average attendances. The most fickle set of bastards in football.
 
From my own personal experience of our oppositions fan forums and personal exp..

lfc - Totally deluded, nothing phases them, they will believe in their club no matter what. Even defeat = them winning, somehow.
Utd - The Utd Way (tm). What a load of bollocks. They were SAF and they are now not SAF.
Arsenal - Checking their history they dont deserve this mantel thyey are somehow on. Spurs are a bigger club, or as big as when looking at their history.
Leeds - Had a good period in the 60s/70s but that doesnt make them what they percieve themselves
Villa - See Leeds.
Birmingham - Wow these twats really took me by surprise.
Everton - I think though they deserve to think they should be better given their comparatively prolific history. But they dont half fuck th8ings up in their own club with their "We're better than this" shite.

Bit puzzled by that one, frankly. Genuine question: could you make your criteria for that one explicit? Because whether its trophies (a dubious criterion, in itself), crowds (again, can be contested) or any other, I'm having difficulty seeing how Spurs are as ‘big’ — whatever that may mean — as Arsenal. Or that they ever have been, except for the relatively short period at the beginning of the sixties when many people felt the Spurs of Danny Blanchflower were playing the finest football in the land.
It's one of the reasons why I find Spurs supporters so difficult to bear. I find some of them incredibly gobby (not all). I was a nipper when they were last champions! Literally.
Just a little touch of humility would be so refreshing. Not holding my breath though.
