Sheffield Wednesday 6-2, sublime, could have been more, loads of City and a proper arena for football.

T'as been my location on here since I joined.

This for the last 30 years, we were behind twice and always seemed capable of throwing away the lead.

The 5-2 away at Charlton under Pearce and the 6-1 at Burnley also great games for different reasons.

Beating Tottenham 5-0 in May 1977 when we were chasing the title.
They were relegated that season and I'd like to think that we just rubbed their noses in it a bit.
God I hate Spurs!

i might be wrong can't remember spurs getting relegated.

As I remember they went down with Stoke and Sunderland or Coventry. I can't remember exactly but I know they were relegated.
Spuds definitely went down that year, did Kidd get 4 goals in that game or was it the 5-0 v Leicester in the same season

Another is when Fulham strode into town, riding high under Kevin Keegan, that was until we hammered them 3-0. I also thought Keegans debut game v Watford (Berkovic was brilliant), was another. The two dickings we got off Arsenal (one was midweek and one when Henry murdered Dunne) were pure entertainment, mainly because we were shit and it was good watching a great team.

I remember the Fulham game well. I caught the train from Blackburn and met a German bloke (who's name i forget) on the train who didn't have a ticket. He was in the process of doing all the football grounds so I went with him to the ticket office but it was sold out. We managed to get him a ticket from a tout and I arranged to meet him afterwards.
As I recall it was a bitterly cold day and it was 0-0 at half time but I might be wrong. Those were the days that Joe Royle had us warm up at the school nearby rather than on the pitch.
I think we had just beaten Stoke the game before and Fulham were walking it at the top of the league. I even recall Gareth Taylor scoring a goal- a rarity in itself. Great game where we were all singing the "Kevin Keegan song". Little did we know he would be our manager in a few years time.
Anyway, we met after the game and we went to that shitty pub at Victoria station where he told me that he was a converted City fan!
I bet he said that to all the fans he met!

One of, if not my favourate away days. Had a good drink, great away following and Bernabia was sublime.

night game at old Highfield Road, under Keegan , think strachen was in charge of coventry, lost 4-3, was like next goal wins sort of game, end to end for 90 mins

In recent times the 4-1 Fulham away match seems to stick out in my mind. Played some fantastic football that day, some of the best I've seen in the Mancini era.

got to go with this one-best i,ve seen us play ever...i think.
great day out..still wish kolorov had scored when he countered attacked from their corner and he raced 70 yards, and clear of their defence..would have been a breath-taking goal..if only.
