Haha, The Mangler... the fine line between excitement and terror.De Bruyne, Benarbia, Kinkladze.
Eliaquim Mangala for nervous excitement.
We may have had better players technically but, for some reason, a lot of our greatest players have been quite reserved off the pitch like Colin Bell, David Silva, KDB, Sergio etc. But Haaland is something else. He is arguably the biggest player in the world at the moment (as Messi and Ronaldo decline). He is a global superstar and in terms of his sheer size and physicality there is no one like him. He is already the biggest box office star we have had...and he may go on to be even bigger.Has to be set in context.
We had great players - I won’t list them, we know who they are, while we were on the way up.
Now we are generally recognised as arguably the best team in the world, we have brought in the only player possible who could raise our profile even further and he is paying dividends.
Every fan of other clubs that I have spoken to recently only wants to talk about the mighty Haaland.
Seems for once we have someone popular with everyone.
One of the reasons I became a city fan. Equally exciting back then was Summerbee. I remember holding my sleeves like him when I was a winger for my primary school. Happy days!I thought Rodney Marsh was one of the most skillful & exiting players when he played for us, I was only young but he had some great games for both QPR & us.
Or the most exciting shave ever.If the question was most
Exciting when trying to miss I agree with you
