I guess exciting is subjective. Haaland seems inevitable, rather than exciting to me so far. (Not that he isn’t exciting)

Growing up, David White was the player that excited me most.

Tevez was unbelievable in is first couple of seasons too.

That’s what I see in my mind’s eye too.
He was truly awesome, in his pomp. He could rampage from south of the halfway line, power through any number of players who would just be shucked aside and then rocket it into the net in the manner of an unstoppable goal monster.

I also think that Haaland’s got that same monster thing about him, that way he (who’s still little more than a kid really) can just power through with grown men players hanging off him, like limpets on the hull of a supertanker, and to no avail whatsoever.
I’m looking forward to how he’ll play when he’s filled out, reached his strength peak and hit his prime.
