Most gut-wrenching goal we ever conceded?

Owen goal was very difficult to take. I think particularly as we'd just made it 3-3 and the swing in emotion was extreme.

Rooney last minute in semi of cc, then hearing all that utterly shite glory glory music as they kept us in.

Ginger pigs last minute goal... I was at a wedding that day so missed the game. Was following the bbc updates whilst in the church and saw the score change just as the bride and groom walked up the isle. Fucking gutted and trying to hide the rage when having pictures taken was impossible.

Fuck me that was a bad year!

Adebola for Birmingham at Maine road. Sure it was around Easter time. I always believed until that moment we'd get out of it, but that 90th min goal made me realise we were in deep shit.

This definitely... We were desperate for points so put 9 men up for a last minute corner. And left with no points.

Typical City.

The earlier post about the 3-3 v. Utd in 1990 had dreadful consequences. We were 3-1 up with about 10 mins to go. Ian Brightwell dithered in midfield and gave the ball away to McClair, who went on & scored. 3-2. We just knew what would happen, and it did. McClair scored from a corner and bstards scraped a draw. Odd as it seems now, Fergie's job was teetering on the brink, and a trouncing at Maine Rd might well have sealed his fate. It wasn't to be, and Utd never looked back, Baconface kept his job, and.... What would Utd's subsequent playing record have been like without him? If only!
I hope Ian Brightwell doesn't sleep easily.
