Most gut-wrenching goal we ever conceded?

Adebola for Birmingham at Maine road. Sure it was around Easter time. I always believed until that moment we'd get out of it, but that 90th min goal made me realise we were in deep shit.

I'm not one to dwell in the past so, I'm going to have to go with Arteta's goal the last time we played Arsenal. However, if I was to dwell in the past, It would have to be the goal that won Wolves the cup at Wembley in 74 (my first Wembley final).

Owen's late late late winner every fookin day. This will torment me for ever.

Scholes a couple of years ago a close second.

You must be THE eternal optimist, we'd been in deep shit for about 3 years by that point! ;-)

I was talking about this in the pub today and it took me the best part of an hour to decide. I'll save my answer to see whether I've missed any and to see if anyone thinks the same.

Knowing City it will be in the 97th minute against QPR, to draw, after news has filtered through that the Rags have lost 3-0 away at Sunderland!! But dispelling that nightmare scenario from my mind and back to what has actually taken place, the second Gillingham goal was pretty gut wrenching, I not only thought that we'd then lost that game but that it be the end of my club! Which it would have been but the rest is as they say history!!

Michael Owen at the swamp. The small time rags celebrated like they'd won the league and it was in about the 100th minute.

Rooney in the Carling Cup was a sickener. After all the times we fell at the quarter final stage in competitions I thought this was our year after beating Arsenal.

A few more in the FA Cup was gut wrenchers.

-Nayim destroying us in quarter final against Spurs
-Dean Ashton for West Ham again in the quarters
-Another one in the quarters was some Blackburn player who made it 2-0 in 2007
