Playing and beating Barca is and always will be more important now, because it is that level of club we are competing for the big trophy - and recognition. Put it this way, those the world over will remember us beating Barca over two legs, thus progressing to the last 8 of the CL than they will us beating united in the least important of the English domestic cups.
Personally I think our name is on that Capital One Cup and as great as it will be to notch up another trophy, regardless of who it is we beat to win it, playing and beating Barca would dwarf it all day long.
Don't get me wrong, should we both get to Wembley and we win, it will be fucking fantastic for the trophy first of all, but the wind ups will be peachy. Beating manyoo isn't quite as special because we expect it. Knocking bloody Barcelona out of the Champions League would be sensational.

If it comes off, this would be the first ever Manchester derby cup final. It isn't small time at all. Far too many Blues haven't seen anywhere near enough silverware.
We can give Barcelona the fright of their lives, hopefully smash United into oblivion and then put all our energies into winning the Premier League once more.
Better to win something than to just fall short in everything.
