A thread in which people can slag off past and present players, pretty sure we already have this covered
Agreed. And some of the answers are disrespectful to past and present players. I can only assume some are taking the piss.A thread in which people can slag off past and present players, pretty sure we already have this covered
Kinkladze by a mile
I also feel Kompany is a bit overrated. Brilliant for 2010-2014 but became somewhat of a walking red card waiting to happen in the later years.
Saved it with two late end of season runs in 2018 and 2019 and the Leicester goal coming back into the team, but the reality was he was injured for well over half the premier league games in those seasons (30 PL starts in 2 years).
Think some people don't understand the word overrated.
For them to be overrated, they have to have been considered by many to be a good player.
Nobody thought Bradbury, bridge or managala were good so they can't be overrated.
Which one?Schmeichel
The old one was magnificent even well past his sell by date, junior is vastly overrated.Which one?
Played a big part in our 1st division championship side under Keegan. 20 goals and a couple of hat tricks. Also worked his bollocks off when needed/ like the home game against Millwall when Ali B got sent off earlyDarren Huckerby, Forrest Gump in football boots on speed.
If Darren had a brain he would be sensational, sadly he didn't!
And some ,an utter clown, we lost Clive Allen because of that little runt.Adrian Fucking Heath
Literally no one rated him bar Reid and Sam "Fuckin" Ellis.... Still mad what they did to Clive Allen to this day. And Colin Hendry. Imbecile's................Adrian Fucking Heath
Never knew what his supposed strengths were because scoring and creating chances certainly weren't among them. Similar in many ways to Nigel Fucking Clough. And some ,an utter clown, we lost Clive Allen because of that little runt.
Not sure which Haaland would be more upset about. Being called Swedish or Andy Carroll.Lock this thread bashing Dunney monster ffs. Has to be "haarland" the Swedish Andy carroll and that ginger in midfield the Dutch Jonjo shevley.
I think NDJ is a great shout. An absolute fan favourite, but a player not needed in a top side. He helped us get to that stage, but the fact he had to slide in so much illustrated that his positioning was poor. His character was just what we needed at the time but as the team progressed his limitations as a footballer became clear. He was replaced by a superior footballer in Gareth Barry who in turn was replaced by a superior footballer in Fernandinho. But for years after de Jong's departure fans still used to post on here saying "we never really replaced de Jong" , "what this team needs now is a player like de Jong". Normally from fans of a certain age who above all else want their midfielders to get "stuck in".
He missed most chances that ever came his way with great aplomb.... (Heath). Clough wasnt great either.Never knew what his supposed strengths were because scoring and creating chances certainly weren't among them. Similar in many ways to Nigel Fucking Clough.
He and Howard seemed to have a very cozy relationship, fucking weird he was constantly picked yet contributed jack shit.Never knew what his supposed strengths were because scoring and creating chances certainly weren't among them. Similar in many ways to Nigel Fucking Clough.
