To be fair Rooney is completely carrying the rags at the moment, almost on his own. They'd be stuck in mid table now if it wasn't for him. Today's game was another example.

Beckham, no doubt a talented footballer but he has always been overrated. People still think he's gonna play a big part for us at the world cup, when was the last time he actually had a really good game and really made an impact for England? I can't remember myself. Probably Greece in 2001.

How can anyone call Ronaldo overrated? He scores in nearly every game he plays in, and single-handedly carried the rags at times. As for big games, Porto (40 yards), Arsenal in the semi's twice and knocking england out on penalties. He might well go down as one of the best players ever, yes hes a ****, but hes an unbelievable athlete and doesnt really have any cons to his game bar the diving. The same goes with Rooney, without him United would be a mid-table side the way theyre playing at the moment, his goals/overall input have been the main reason theyre challenging for the title (and other teams letting themselves down).

Overrated, try Darren Fletcher, good footballer (at what he does) and effective in big games, but probably the most overrated player in europe at the mo, the fletcher wankfest is embarrassing.

Never in the premiership (before his time) but Norman 'tiny dick' Whiteside was always overrated! One cup final goal wonder!

ronaldo imo ... he's is hopeless compared to players like messi and kaka. sky, the english media and journalists made him out to be the greatest ever when in reality he was nowhere near as good as the worlds elite which was proven in seen in the big games (both champs league finals, derbys, finals etc.) and international tournaments.
