Youtube is weird. You can see all manner of videos showing humans being eviscerated in many unpleasant ways, but dare attempt to upload anything showing a nipple and it'll be deleted and you banned pronto.

911-firefighter1.jpg

9 11 brought the entire world to a stand still. But the extent of their bravery was only realised afterwards, even if it was only for a moment. 343 firefighters died, they went in while everyone else was running for their lives.
An incredible act of bravery. Not just them but the rest of the responders in the police and paramedics..etc. Not only in their respone but the aftermath and attempt to recover those left in the rubble.

Surprised that was put up all ready, a momentus occasion in the middle of so much horror and death.

A real image of the time, just a real sense of desperation and disbelief.

The size of the place must be completley overwhelming. Price of war.

Oswald%20gets%20it%20with%20the%20gun%20now%20on%20sale.jpg

Lee Harvey Oswald getting shot. If it wasn't for this, many questions would have been answered. This moment not only sparked the rumours and myths, it also saw the trust in the US Government plummet to the point where there are 'conspiracy theories' in almost every event now, Diana, 9/11. Almost every Government is now questioned as a result of the murder of Oswald.

D-Day. Who knows what sort of a world we'd live in if that day hadn't been successful.

And on a friggin absolutely weird note, I just Googled "important images in history", and try it yourself, third row, second along.

WTF??!!!
