Most random match attended?

Possibly Rochdale v Aston Villa. In the League - old Third Division. Rochdale managed to win 1-0. God knows how. Villa coming out for the second half looked fitter that Rochdale coming out for the first.

Cowdenbeath vs Stirling Albion. Finished 5-1 to Cowdenbeath in front of about 400 people. Cracking pie there, too.

Oxford United vs Bristol Rovers in League Cup. Oxford won 6-1.

Swindon vs Crawley. 3-0 to Swindon.

Nomme Kalju vs Flora Tallinn. 2-0 to Kalju on an AstroTurf pitch next to the Estonian national stadium with temporary metal stands that were a death trap.

Lou Macari's testimonial :(
HaHa I was scared to admit it.Went with rag mates(I know what your thinking) and wore my City top under a jumper and it turned out to be a mad hot day. Also went to see Bideford against Leicester in a pre season friendly down Devon way.

Me, my cousin and his mate went to Barnet V Cheltenham in 2011. The two teams were 91st and 92nd in the league.

Despite being 39, blagged it in on an NUS card. We were behind the goal and two cheeky kids gave the Cheltenham keeper (Brown) a dogs abuse. As the game was so shite, we decided to join in. I think he was a bit unnerved as he made an absolute howler that cost them the game.

After the game, we had a few pints in the cricket club next door. About 6.00 we headed back to Barnet tube station, where we saw the Cheltenham coach parked up. The keeper who we'd been giving grief to was sat near the front. He recognised us and had to be held back by a few of his team mates.

Went to Witton Albion v Harrogate Town a couple or three years ago, as my nephew was on Crewe's book at the time and was on loan to Witton.

Funnily enough I'd played there myself a couple of decades before in an amateur match.

It was like going back in time. Terrace behind the goal, "you're shit aahh" chants at the keeper after a goal kick, adverts in the match programme from local butchers and electricians and lots of old man with flat caps in the main stand.

Despite the pub football standard of the game I thoroughly enjoyed it.
