Most underrated City player ever?

Who do you think is the most underrated city player?

I always though Neil Mcnab was a great little player who didnt get enough credit,
Also a mention for, Gary Owen, wonderful player who should never have been sold when he was.

I can assure you that in his own time Gary Owen was highly rated. Not underrated at all. The two young players the fans were most excited about were Barnes and Owen. It was only when Allison came back and started behaving like an utter tit that it brought prematurely to an end what should have been a fine career at Maine Road.

Otamendi springs to mind from recent players. Unfairly known to be some blunder prone rash defender only.
When he was on point, he was very good. But he had more than his share of poor performances. His fondness for going to ground was a major weakness. You never saw VK doing it, and you don't see Dias or Laporte doing it.

Great defender but utter mercenary, always had the feeling he did not like football but was just very good at it and loved the money.
Absolutely, but whilst Dunne got all the plaudits for being a last ditch blocker, Distin calmly got on with his work and that partnership kept us in the league for a fair few years.

Craig Bellamy, hated him with a passion at other clubs but what a quality player, and what a winning attitude.

Never forget him giving Terry sh1t at Stamford Bridge with the Wayne Bridge situation, proper bloke who did not give 2 shits for anyone's reputation.
