He was very skilful and held the ball up well, but he lacked sufficient physical presence and didn’t score nearly enough goals. Trevor Francis has spoken well of him as a player.Not the most underrated ever by any means but someone who seems to get lumped in with the rest of the shit from the early 80s and I always thought was a pretty decent player was Kevin Reeves.
I think his whole career was done and dusted in about 10 years because of injuries but he’s someone I always think could have been top notch if he’d not had the bad luck he did.
