I dunno if you would call him under-rated, however i always though Freddie Ljungberg was an immense footballer. I think he was largely forgotten as people like Pires / Henry / Viera stole the limelight from him......... Slightly :) you know what i mean

If we are talking most under rated ever, I'm going to say Clive Allen.

I have to say keeper wise, (given excluded) it has to be Schwarzer
i think hes a fantastic keeper and doesnt get the credit he deserves.
defender - id say dunne, he never even got mention by most pundits, or even fans of other teams. He gave 100% and was a class act at times, and went unoticed.
midfielder - scholes, the passed that guy can pick out are nothing short of magic, he makes it look so easy. unlike that over rated heap of shit that is giggs
striker, i think hasselbaink, i thought he was great, not many people mention him when he was playing well for chelski.
