Fair coverage?

The 2 important features of the game were how well City dealt with Liverpool's attacking threat and how well Liverpool's midfield played to snub out our 5. As this doesn't make exciting tv they concentrated on the ifs and buts.
Negredo's goal was a 'goalkeeping error' according to Savage. The Beast could have put it either side and he did well to react to push it up.
One Suarez dive out of 3 shown, Skrtl's manhandling and battle with Negredo not shown. How Kompany dealt with Suarez leaving him to play supplier to the other players and then switching sides when he got no joy shown a little bit.

It was a hard won battle against a very good team who, going off that match will be thereabouts come the end of the season.

Negredo's shot swerved (another outside of the boot hit) and the ball was going to the goalie's right, which is why he didn't get a full hand to it. Why were BT Sport and MotD blind to this and choose to criticise the goalie for flapping at Negredo's "weak" shot rather than give the Beast credit?

Twice now that Negrado hasn't had the recognition on this tired programme he deserves.

The cross to Jimmy at Fulham was sublime, dare I say Dalgliesh-esque! Yet no mention of this on the night.

The shot today, again with the outside of his boot, drew Mignolet to his left, while the ball curled around to his right, all he could do was flap at it. Keeper error my arse, it was a superb effort that duped the goalie. Again no recognition.

I found their analysis embarrassing with their praise making them squirm, someone as had a word, anyone with half a brain cell can see through their false amateur punditry
