There's a lot of paranoia on this thread
It's great.
Nothing wrong with that last night at all. I watched the United highlights after and Rooney's volley got labeled as 'the goal'. If Aguero had netted that and it was referred to so lightly as 'the goal', I think there would have been a couple of heart attacks on here, maybe even as people typed. Something like 'did you hear that fucking **** then, no credit whatseklnknj.knbhb;hbjknlnk'.
Our match was covered as much as they could cover it in the time they had for each game. It's bordering on the extreme now though, the criticism the programme gets. It's as if people are just coming up with the slightest thing to get all upset and mard about. Like i've said before, fans of other teams visiting this forum must think we have the softest bunch of fans in the land. Moaning about every thing to do with the media/MOTD/Sky. Poor.

THIS.

I thought the analysis was pretty fair. There is a sort of backhanded compliment in that they think that the "lead" issue is that Liverpool's attack made a game of it in contrast to the train wreck Arsenal/Spurs/Rags etc made of it. They picked out a feature of each side's performance, their attacking threat, our one/two touch play, and the stats showed that we edged a close game.

Hanson's analysis against Fulham was appalling. Yesterday was not IMHO too bad.

Probably didn`t show it,due to the final shit ball from Navas, unfortunately.

The other thing lads - and this is a HUGE compliment - is that the pundits expect us to win all the time. So it's only natural to big up the underdogs - whoever they happen to be - if/when they happen to put in a valiant effort.

It's no difference from in other sports, for example in tennis when someone gives Djokovic a good game they will bang on about how marvellous they were and Djokoviv barely gets a mention even though he won.

We should be flattered really.

THIS , little liverpool made a valiant effort , but they werent good enough , we have bigger and better things to worry about than has been clubs hoping they can scrape into the top four . LIverpool football club living off the scraps from our table , have they no pride ?

Exactly. Same reason a commentator goes wild when someone scores a late winner against City.
