I thought the analysis was pretty fair. There is a sort of backhanded compliment in that they think that the "lead" issue is that Liverpool's attack made a game of it in contrast to the train wreck Arsenal/Spurs/Rags etc made of it. They picked out a feature of each side's performance, their attacking threat, our one/two touch play, and the stats showed that we edged a close game.

Hanson's analysis against Fulham was appalling. Yesterday was not IMHO too bad.

I agree, i thought whilst watching the game(at the ground !! Lol ) that Liverpool had the better chances and after watching the highlights i am still of the same opinion but i think we are the better team and looked the better team all round.

Tbf it was a very close entertaining game, i enjoyed it !!

Last night's "analysis" was anything but fair and balanced. Sure they mentioned us but they were blown away by the red's play even though media darling Suarez was completely invisible.

You can always rely on Mr Contrary to have a pop at Blues.....

MOTD is a pile of wank, edited to appease the armchair fans of the so called big four and its panels are hand picked to spoon feed them the propaganda they crave.

Maybe its because of that, Mr Contrary seems to like it so much?

Appeasement, specifically hand picked commentators and propaganda - is this a programme about football or a North Korean political broadcast?

Sorry, fella. You need to watch the highlights again. Suarez put's Sterling in for the ridiculous offside, sets the goal up, puts Coutinho in who should do better and get's the wrong side of Kompany to set up Sterling who misses a sitter.

Didn't score, but far from invisible and gave Kompany/Lescott something to think about all game.

I dont get the invisible tag either. He is a constant threat but fuck me, what a cheat. I can still hear his screams now every time his arse hits the deck!

One of them players that divides opinion with his antics. Like Bellamy, opposition hate him but you'd love him if he played for you. If we do manage to win the title this year (and Liverpool contrive to finish outside of the top 4) I'd expect us to break the bank for Suarez and make that statement of intent we nearly did with RVP.

Let's play predict Hansen's lines

"If they'd played like that against Liverpool......"

"The ref must be a City fan", he will say. Amongst other things.

The MOTD commentator sounds like he realllllly wants us too lose, if it's recorded live and edited later anyway
