I'll get my tin hat on before this post but I can't fathom out why we're all moaning about the MOTD highlights from tonight.

Yes, we dominated possession but does us passing the ball about not really going anywhere or breaking them down count as highlights? It showed Fernandinhos couple of efforts and Milners early on, I can't really think of anything else worthy of including as 'highlights' from our performance today other than the goal.

Palace on the other hand hardly saw the ball but forced 3 excellent saves from Hart and missed a sitter and another very decent chance.

The comments by Pulis and Murphy after the game is a different matter but as for the highlights themselves, MOTD got the game pretty much spot on.

I think Pulis actually did his team a disservice by using the old "they have lots of money" soundbite. Palace were brilliant today and really took the game to us, something Pulis clearly doesn't think is worth mentioning over the fact that we've spent "£350 million".
Also loved Hansen's face when he said "Toure, Aguero and maybe Negredo" would get into any team in the league, he must have hated saying that and it showed.

Palace were brilliant lol. They were shit.

Quality doesn't always mean 90% possession and a zillion shots on target. Palace made really good use of when they had the ball and Hart had a great game keeping some good shots out. On another day it could easily have been 1-1.

Odd that they showed us before the West Ham/West Brom game. Yes, we're higher in the table, but the Hammers' game turned out to be far more entertaining.

Edit - might have been Ward who hit the shot I'm on about. It was the one low to Harts left hand side which he got his fingertips to I'm on about, in particular.
