I laughed at some tweets out there tonight "we had 70% possession and they showed those highlights"

The hint is in the name highlights, there's no highlights in having the majority of possession.

Well said. Pulis is, and will always be, a bitter little cnut, the worst advert there is for British managers.

For Palace's fans' sake I'd like them to stay up, but that's overwhelmed by my desire not to have to watch that twat fielding a team in the Premier League.
 
goals on sunday is worse nowadays.

the pundits were claiming that city didn't dominate and palace could've won.

their best chance was when one of their players took a shot from long range and joe hart tipped it over. the shot did take a massive deflection.

That's not really true is it?

Their best chance came from the corner with a free header from 4 yards out that their player for some reason fucked up. 7/10 times that would have been a goal.

We may have dominated possession but our tempo was too slow and our full backs were a fucking joke going forward. Totally non existent.

Palace had too many shots for my liking and I don't expect Hart to be the best player when we play Palace at home.

We won but we were a bit fortunate and Pellegrini got away with that team selection yesterday.

It highlighted to me once again hat the players we have to come in are not good enough.

Still it was no doubt the 46 hour gap that forced his hand and he won't have to do that again.
