Been a long blip, apart from the end of last season we've been pretty average for over a year now, how many times can you say we've played well this season?

Evidence suggests otherwise - 2nd in the Premier League suggests something other than 'average'
15 wins out 26 with our squad is pretty average imo then you have to consider our performances in europe and going out of the LC to an awful Villa side its not been great. Its not awful but we could and should be doing so much better with the players Mancini has at his disposal.

Hi

I agree with you - we should be better than we are right now. But we're still way better than average.

If it was a done deal I doubt he would have been so sycophantic at the swamp today.

He always bigs up the opposition prior to a huge game, keep the enemy close

Spot on. Not that I want Mancini out, just think he wants to go back to Italy and not pressing for guardiola leaves only Jose and we know the owners would have him here in a flash!

Have a feeling mourinho is a done deal for the summer. Think Mancini fancies going back home wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Milan with his Son. Love the guy but Mourinho would be a step up, no doubt about it.

Nailed on Chelsea

9/4 second fav on sky bet - you'd best get your mortgage on it then

Like him or not if Jose rocked up at the Etihad tomorrow morning the eyes of the football world would all be turned to Manchester City. Every footballer on the planet (possibly with the exception of Messi) would sit up and take notice and it would be - and I hate to use this word - fucking massive news. Like him or not I can't believe for a split second every single City player would not be buzzing to turn up at Carrington and train with him and show what they're worth. I also predict this board would go into meltdown and it would be the second single biggest event off the pitch to the takeover that has ever happened at our club. Fucking headlines, excitement, anticipation, rumours, targets and all the buzz words you could think of would be banded around. Mourinhio here would be epic like it or not.

I'm sure Mourinho will return to the Premiership in the Summer, or possibly even sooner, but I would think Chelsea would be favourites. Read several times that Abramovic and Mourinho have patched up their differences.

Hope not we have enough trouble with United, Mourinho plus a world class striker like Falcao wouldn't be good.

Not sure Mourinho is the same force he was. He's had a pretty humiliating time this season and the aura he had - the self-styled special one - has gone.

I prefer Mancini, but if he can't turn around this dip in form I recognise that he will be gone

That's why this 'we don't want mourinho' attitude of a few people baffles me. He would take the clubs profile into a different league. The eyes of the world would be on us. He'd be able to attract the top players in the world to the club.

Imagine Mancini telling Iniesta or Ronaldo 'eet is important that we work 'ard'.
