Its not awful but we could and should be doing so much better with the players Mancini has at his disposal.Danielmanc said:greasedupdeafguy said:Been a long blip, apart from the end of last season we've been pretty average for over a year now, how many times can you say we've played well this season?
Evidence suggests otherwise - 2nd in the Premier League suggests something other than 'average'

He always bigs up the opposition prior to a huge game, keep the enemy close

Nailed on Chelsea

Every footballer on the planet (possibly with the exception of Messi) would sit up and take notice and it would be - and I hate to use this word - fucking massive news. Like him or not I can't believe for a split second every single City player would not be buzzing to turn up at Carrington and train with him and show what they're worth. I also predict this board would go into meltdown and it would be the second single biggest event off the pitch to the takeover that has ever happened at our club. Fucking headlines, excitement, anticipation, rumours, targets and all the buzz words you could think of would be banded around. Mourinhio here would be epic like it or not.
Hope not we have enough trouble with United, Mourinho plus a world class striker like Falcao wouldn't be good.Marvin said:I'm sure Mourinho will return to the Premiership in the Summer, or possibly even sooner, but I would think Chelsea would be favourites. Read several times that Abramovic and Mourinho have patched up their differences.
Not sure Mourinho is the same force he was. He's had a pretty humiliating time this season and the aura he had - the self-styled special one - has gone.greasedupdeafguy said:Hope not we have enough trouble with United, Mourinho plus a world class striker like Falcao wouldn't be good.Marvin said:I'm sure Mourinho will return to the Premiership in the Summer, or possibly even sooner, but I would think Chelsea would be favourites. That's why this 'we don't want mourinho' attitude of a few people baffles me. He would take the clubs profile into a different league. The eyes of the world would be on us. He'd be able to attract the top players in the world to the club.Blue2112 said:Like him or not if Jose rocked up at the Etihad tomorrow morning the eyes of the football world would all be turned to Manchester City.
