It’s more than ten years since he left the Trafford shithole. The swamp has changed a lot since then. He knows rag central no better than Big Mal did when he came back to City for his second spell.

His managerial career is sketchy at best. He looked good in Norway, as he succeeded Uwe and built on the (very good) foundations that Rösler had laid. His stint at Cardiff was an unmitigated disaster and I hope he is equally successful at the swamp if he takes over.
