Its got to be the special one but I would have hiddink, he gets teams to play
exciting football, isnt that what we want combined with winning everything.

Ah Mourinho? Get him in ASAP and if anyone can bring down his reputation then it has to be City.

Time, stability and patience is whats required - problem is we have too many johnny come lately fans who are FOS!

Get Hughes back.........I liked our style of football then......almost reminded me of a team playing in red not too far from us but outside of Manchester.

Do you think it is a coincidence that Mancinin was given only £8 million in January???
No, considering we are expecting to finish in CL space this year meaning we will be able to attract a higher tier of players in the summer so what is the point of spending another £100m+ only to replace them in 6 months when our squad is good enough to reach our targets this year anyway.

Mancini has recently stated that this is not the case in one of the sports channel's pre match interviews. It was simply lost in translation on his original press conference.

Neil Warnock IN.

End Of Thread.

You must be joking? What makes you think he can get the results we need?

If you want some one to get results with nice attractive football get Pep in from Barca.

TBH I like Mancini and his football(we have yet to see a Mancini team), he is doing what he is doing with out having a pre season which is where most of a managers ideas are drilled into a team. If you want to know how hard it it to change a style a play or mantality of a previous manager look at what happened when Keegan took over at newcastle a second time even he couldnt change it quickly.

Mancini will get us where we need to be count on that, it may not be attractive but I dont think football has to be attractive I prefer a team to be ruthless and efficient, like a Mourinho team.

But we dont need a manager, we have Mancini as like I said he will give us good football and he will get us results in TIME.

As for hughes we should never have given a job. What in his CV said he good enough for a club wanting to get into the top 4?

As a side note am I the only one that would have Rafa here?

I think this is a done deal and for me we should have kept Hughes till the summer and then gone all out for JM rather than install Mancini as a 6 month contract stop gap.

anybody on here who says they would not want mourinho are lieing bastards.

I fit the first part of the criteria. There are a number of world class players who might follow Mourinho but do they go to, say, Inter because it's Mourinho or because it's Milan.

There is also the issue of Mourinho causing enough of his own trouble.

I would have stuck with Hughes till the end of the season, and I think we should stick with Mancini and at least see what business is done in the next window and give him sufficient time to mould a team that plays as a team on the pitch week in, week out and we eradicate the Hull away performances once and for all.

We have seen only a glimmer of what City can do - the Arse twice, Chelsea and MANUre at CoMS. If the players we have can perform at that level on a more consistent basis, and it wasn't because those teams had an off day, we wouldn't be thinking that we might get 4th spot.
