Chinley is my nearest point of civilisation.

It's a sleepy place with a carpet shop, post office that's never open and a woman called meg who makes cakes.

Not sure Chinley qualifies as civilisation.

Chinley is actually a beautiful spot. It's in the Peak District, and is the starting point for walks up Kinder Scout. People from Manchester and Sheffield get off the train there and go exploring. The average house price round there is out of most peoples price range, so they are probably minted out there. The local boozer is in the guardian top 50 pubs in the UK for a Sunday roast.

Sad twat Ultras do it as a badge of honour. There’s a new trend of getting tickets at rival’s grounds in the home ends and stealing flags and banners. I think it’s their modern version of ‘taking the Kippax’.
