Well done to them. Ofcourse I will always be wary of them taking that 4th spot. Hopefully they get tough draws now, none the less Moyes has done enough for the season.
4th has gone, but we need them to finish out of Europa League places. No coefficient points will kill any more easy passages to the Champions League Q/Finals

I meant getting 4th from the CL win. I know its hideous but few lucky games, lucky reds/PKs and you never know

My fear too. Surely we can't have another team doing a Chelsea. Its a shame Benfica screwed up so badly, they would have been a real problem for them, they play some class football. Any of those 7 teams left should knock them out, but I would rather the nail was put in the coffin today, that would have been the end of their season, now they've been handed a lifeline.

Ive never heard as much shit as I have done already within 2 hours of them winning. Come out the cinemas to texts "moyes has done better in the Champs league in 1 season than your history" ffs!! I knew they would win but thought olympiacios would score atleast... didnt they get a drumming weekend!

Kinda glad they won as It will give me time to get my last rib in shape for the next round.

Just overheard someone saying Van Persie was stretchered off.

Have they said if he's likely to be out for next week yet?

You know like when a manager takes someone off to get a standing avation when he's played well? Well he done the old trick of playing dead on a stretcher

Better they get their big win of the season tonight as opposed to next week.

I was working so I didn't see the game and I haven't had chance to read through the thread but I understand that Moyes picked Wio from the start.

Very brave of him to play his "Its a knockout" Joker.

Meth head and the old bloke (Who fucked his sister in law) had a good game which will be nothing but a blessing.

Overheard in pub here in North London, a gaggle of their classy, loyal and knowledgeable supporters gathered round the screen,

'..it might not seem so, but its always a rollercoaster season supporting United...blah-blah.... business as usual'

'...well yeah, I was supposed to be at the game tonight but it got a bit busy at work...'

One sad middle aged fella who kept on showing off pics on his phone of their trophies got giddy and threw a beer mat at some young Arsenal lad who was taking the piss...then shit himself when it hit a big, mean-looking fella, minding his own business in the corner who told him ever so quietly to, 'Calm down, Rooney'.

Then they all got carried away and ordered giant pizzas to celebrate the win.

Legendary European night to add to the annals.
