Moyes on Talksport

Media softening his character calling him "Davey" when was he ever called this at Everton?!

All their chums have a "y" appended to the end of their names, it's a code to tell their listeners he's a good un, when they start swapping golfing stories with them it's the radio equivalent of tongues.

Which sycophantic **** is doing the interview?
The aforementioned "Sir Bobby", I imagine.

It'll be Lord Alan Of Brazil, list of questions in one hand, his cock in the other.

In the 15 minutes I was in the car this morning "Davey Moyes of Manchessss United" being on the show was mentioned 687,213 times.

Haha.

Has this been on yet?

Moyse was helping to perpetuate the myth, taken in hook line and sinker by rag fans, that they keep churning out first team players from their academy.

Now let's see. How many academy products started more than half the rags' PL games last season? Jonny Evans (but only just with 21 starts) and, er, that's it. Anyone think the likes of Wootton and Tunnicliffe are about to become the next best thing? No. of course not.

More obsession that doesn't deserve its own thread, however, given its been made,i thought he came across well stating exactly was was expected.

Merge this bollocks into the main Ragfest thread.

Our academy hasn't been the best for a while now. Every now and again we churn out a good or decent player, but if i'm being more honest than is comfortable, our academy has been overrated since the class of '92. Who have we produced? Evans, Welbeck, Cleverley, O'Shea (Looked really promising about 10 years ago but we did a Phil Jones and played him anywhere), Brown, Gibson...

Of those Evans and perhaps Welbeck I think will be top class and Cleverley can certainly contribute. But even so, 3 names in 20 years for an academy of our reputation is not good.

Haven't seen that much of our current crop, from what I've heard though Will Keane has high expectations on him, but with Welbeck, Hernandez, Kagawa, Henriquez and Macheda (Ok, he won't be here for much longer but still) all 23 and under, he may find it tough.

Edit: can't believe I left out Fletcher. He was Fantastic at his peak, sadly I can't see him making a full recovery.

I have often defended you and with good reason, and I have no doubt whatsoever you are a big blue, but a healthy dislike of united and all that surrounds them is a big part of what defines a lot of City fans, including me.

It isn't an "obsession" at least in the pejorative way you put it. My family are reds, I have many mates who are reds and I even went into business with a united fan once so I've got a sense of perspective. There's more to life than football.

I like taking the piss out of them and exposing their hypocricy as a club. If that makes me obsessed then you must be a very dull dinner companion. Remind me not to invite you to my "I hate Lou Macari evening" next month :-)

It was truly sickening listening to this, totally embarrassing, It made MUTV look impartial.

I only tuned in to see if soemthing about city would be on, as its manuels press confernece today, and that lot manage to put another united clant on the day...cunts
