People in glass houses and all that
In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king.
People in glass houses and all that
Cool. Thanks for adding nothing to this thread. I look forward to your whataboutery on the Labour thread.6 I said it should be discussed in the Labour thread and I can’t be arsed so it’s the last time I’m discussing it on this thread.
Another one who doesn't get it. Should be discussed in the labour thread but I can't be arsed.

You're trying to make a connection between Angela Rayner calling the government scum and David Amess being killed by an Islamist extremist. There isn't one. There are plenty of hate crimes that happen in this country day in day out where you could say rhetoric used by politicians might be a causal factor but this really isn't one of them. It's werid that people don't talk about those but are desperate to make a link here.

Don't think that's fair to be honest. Yes, it can't be pinned on Rayner though she should take plenty of time to reflect and update her behaviour accordingly going forward.Doesn't get what? If you take into account what govt has done in the last 2 years on home soil is enough for me!Don't think that's fair to be honest. Yes, it can't be pinned on Rayner though she should take plenty of time to reflect and update her behaviour accordingly going forward.
That being said, if we choose to ignore the effects that government policy from both sides of the bench in the Middle East over the past 20 years, plus the recent policy on migrant crossings have on motivations for attacks like these then we're wilfully being ignorant. Carrying out attacks like this is a politically motivated response against those who have different political ideals to those of a Jihadist religious state. The religion and politics are intertwined. In addition, if we choose to ignore that this guy has sought out an MP at his surgery (which has no wider public fanfare) to carry out the attack, as opposed to an unspecific attack in the centre of London, then we're also being ignorant. The political motivations are quite clear to see.
