Was the perpetrator on the "watch list?"
Someone today told me he was, but I haven't seen it reported any where official so far.
If he was, and he booked an appointment (as definitely reported officially earlier) then why wasn't this picked up?

Might be that then...I trusted someone earlier who told me otherwise.

Edit----seems he was referred to 'Prevent' a few years back which is not the same at all. That's probably where my source became confused.

I find it very sad that this thread has fallen down the pecking order for lack of replies.
The killing of ANY MP is shocking and an attack on democracy.
I guess it's because you can only express your sentiments the once, but the killing of Jo Cox had many more ifirc.
Is it that, because of that killing, we are becoming less shocked?

I guess it’s because we’re in limbo whilst the ongoing investigation is carried out.

It’s obviously a shocking event, but not all the facts are known yet.

Yeah, probably.
It's just that I am still shocked to the core and can't believe it.

Not sure on the terrorism angle but a good friend of mine who was involved in police protection work with the MET told me years ago that the Somalis were a real threat to law and order.
He claims that generally they are indifferent to death and pose a real threat as and when they break the law.
