MUEN - what's gone wrong?

I really like the MUEN, I get a free copy most days and really comes in handy for lighting the fire, and picking up dog shit in the garden, don't know what all the fuss is about?

Also handy for the bottom of a bird cage.

Biased I hear you say...just look on their website:

On the landing page, United are listed first:

On the football page, United are again listed first:

Hmmmm... Why is this? Are the teams listed alphabetically? Is it based on who are the current champions? ....nah they're biased as f*** ;)

spot on

symptomatic of the way they think

rags first (even when they're second)

And the text is red by default, why would they do that?

As a new poster on their website ive noticed the negativity from ther paper is worst than ever along with re-hashed RVP stories, then we have a reporter who took over reporting on city after whiskey nose allegedly banned him from the swamp, James Robson with his bullshit articles.
Peter Spencer wont answer claims from blues of bias or the poor reporting, ive said this on the website before that mark hughes had no time for this paper and mancini has carried it on,spencer see's it as a joke but MUEN has had reports on us selling half the team, when he had that editors questions lark he refused to answer questions but then gets himself all over talksport making out hes got all the answers on city(talksport and mirror are their sources usually)

have they always been this biased or just since takeover? ive supported city since 85 but never used to read the paper(miss the pink)

It's been biased as fuck since I was a paper lad in the early 90's. Being a kid backed then and having no money all I had to follow city was magic 1152 for radio broadcasts and the fucking MUEN. Anyone saying they weren't biased can get fucked. I used to read that paper religiously, many an occasion there would be a two page fluff story about the rags when they weren't even playing while city match report would be nothing more than a tiny two or three inch by 1 inch column.

That fucking hurt as a kid, it was bad enough we were shit and the rags were brilliant but to not know what the fuck was going on used to drive me round the bleeding bend. No wondered my generation was a lost generation of city fans we couldn't ever find out what the fuck was going on with the likes of the bastarding MUEN.

I can remember after the 5-1 the report was on the back pages with black and white photos of city goals whilst a colour full double page spread of Hughes scissor kick was in the middle , presumably for them to put on their bedroom walls . It was a strange editorial decision if you ask me .

Some quality banter in the comments section of this article regarding FFP

Laughing my arse off reading that, basically then the rags challenge breaks every rule on free trade set up by the European courts and if it was upheld then HRH Mansour could register MCFC LTD in his palace as the business address and anyone knocking on the door with a warrant to see the books would be virtually a declaration of war as the address is sovereign Abu Dhabi territory, can't see HM Govt doing all that and risking a rise in the oil prices to protect the Glazers and Slur Alex lol.

Ah that's why the fat pube head has been all over sky and talkshite today ..his book, assume he had a ghost writer.

Re MUEN not read it for years, when I was a kid it was great for the old scrap book but been crap for decades.

This now seems to have changed. Just been on their site and we are above the rags. Nice work!

There is yet another article with a negative spin about richards comeback from injury.

Things were more balanced in the pre-takeoever days. I compare the MUEN to an old mate. They're always there for you encouraging you and supporting you when times are hard. Suddenly things start going for you. The old mate doesn't like you anymore. He preferred it when you were downtrodden just like he is. He starts slagging you off to other people until the friendship totally deteriorates. Perhaps we should start our own local rag? The MCEN/ Evening Blues...
