Fork not required, been there and done it!!!
Just a touch of gravy though, i'm not talking heaps, just enough to cover 50% of the chips, plus you will have a soggy barm if you put to much on and possibly face burning your fingers if it drips!, try it next time, you won't be disappointed, if your feeling good throw some peas on aswell, i do!

oh aye to true, i went home made at first, then after that i pushed the boat out and had faith in my chinese friend mr.chew at the local and he left me going back for more!!!!!
