It must be a North/South Manc thing. The City Chippy on Claremount Road sold Chip Barms btw.

Another thing I went into a Chippy in Culceth near Warrington and asked for a Chip Barm and they replied "Do you want salad on that?" Who has salad on a chip barm? Is that a local thing and they think it becomes healthy due to a bit of salad?

i lived in warrington for 21 years and never heard about salad on a chip barm!!

oh and its a barm!! muffins are cakes eg a chocolate chip muffin

The Salad must be the Culceth/Risley area then. Very Strange though.
