I don't have a clue what this thread is about. Can someone translate it please for those of us who aren't from Manchester.

It's basically an argument about what you call these

That is clearly a breakfast muffin.

This is an Oven Bottom Muffin:

Thanks. If they're bread rolls, we ask for a chip cob here in Derbyshire. I thought a muffin was a small cake you buy in Costa.
