Muhammed Ali RIP

"My conscious won't let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me ******, they never lynched me, they didn't put no dogs on me, they didn't rob me of my nationality, rape and kill my mother and father... Shoot them for what? ...How can I shoot them poor people, Just take me to jail."

Ali knew what war is really about, and that rings so true today with Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc.

Rest in peace.

Sugar Ray fought 200 times, yes, TWO HUNDRED. And won 173 of them, 108 by KO. Before he started to dip he won 133 of his first 134 fights, 75 of his first 76 professional fights. He still went on to fight 60 odd times after that when he was past it, more than most fighters fight in their whole career, and still won most of them.
It's sad that you guys are talking about who the best is in a thread of a guy who just died. You should take it to the boxing forum mate, RIP the greatest sportsman ever.

Not being flippant, just an opinion. I'm not criticizing the man himself, but the sport. I think boxing is nothing more than violence and encourages violence in others, particularly young people, I've seen evidence of that myself in the past. Like I said though, still very sad that he is no longer with us.

You're talking shit, if anything it disciplines the aggression...

Anyway, it's about the man, the response doesn't matter..

RIP
