Music after the match

Loads of credit to VK for bringing the Trophy over to the Family Stand - most of the other players didn't even bother coming over. I understand them going to the Kippax and South Stand as that's where the die-hard singers are but me and my kids are season ticket holders too and haven't missed a game (and stay to applaud the players after every game).

Still thoroughly enjoyed the whole day though ;-)

Only City fans could watch their team win the title on the last day, after 5 straight victories ... then complain that the music was too loud !

Like last time, it was fucking stupid. Deafeningly loud and killed the spontaneous atmosphere. Some of us would rather sing "Blue Moon" than jump up about with our hand in the air to One Step Beyond. And that cheesy Euro-techno version of our songs was like something they play at an under 8s birthday party.

After the trophy was presented we gave it a few minutes and fucked off to City Square to celebrate properly.

It's being so cheerful that keeps him going

As has been pointed out already. It depends on where you sit.

On level 3 we are not that far from the big fuck off speakers no one could hear a fucking thing.

When the music did fuck off I couldn't hear the player interviews because of the noise from the crowd. Though I wanted to hear what was said I didn't mind one fucking bit because atleast it was blues singing and enjoying themselves.

Using celebratory music is fine but not at fucking 11! All the the sound guy had to do was turn the level up at the beginning of the tracks to get the fans singing and then turn it down.

The music was ok for me what spoilt it was the bloody Barclays sign at head height , I've got me season ticket in the East stand and could see fuck all due to that , why was it not lower ??? Crazy , bad planning half the stadium can't see the champs

Although I'm in Colin's bell end, I agree. It should happen in the centre circle. I'm sure they could do some pretty amazing things in the middle of the pitch, stage wise... Would allow for 360 views for the players and the fans.

Rocking All Over the World (apart from being crap, is played regularly at the swamp)
Used to be regularly pla.....

As WAS The Best by Tina Turner.. I imagine they don't play that anymore either.

The Quo have United links (as they're Londoners I imagine they're rags anyway) as if you remember that shite song 'Come On You Reds' in the 90s was actually a re-hashed version of Quo's 'Burning Bridges'.. best we steer well clear! BUT if Zab likes 'em, fair play!

That's so true, I'd forgotten how loud it is up there. I was in the CB 3rd tier when we first moved (I was a Main Stander).,, but ended up moving as that tannoy noise was driving me daft.. way too loud up there.

Agree with the OP, it must be where you sit because in the third tier it was fucking deafening the music. Don't understand why they dont just shut off the speaker for 10 minutes and lets the fans make the noise.
