Music Poll - Favourite Lead Guitarist see OP Closes Midnight today

I’m going to say George Harrison his slide guitar is heaven but No 1 is John Squire 3rd would be little Barrie, Barrie Cadogan (primal scream) I can’t stop now thinking of all the brilliant guitarist’s there have been so many of them.

Oh dear! first rule, read the rules, you don’t want a couple you want 10 by PM

Quite a toughie on such a broad category just off the top of my head I've got stuff by Joe Pass, John Williams, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Marr and Hendrix which is all brilliant but quite different. Tricky one.

I've produced a list of ninety so far without much effort but it only has two of those on it (SRV & Jimi).

Johnny Marr, George Harrison, Brian May - no particular order. If we were allowed four Mark Knopfler who is an amazing folk/blues based lead player.

I think this is harder than the vocalist polls. I know it's a blind poll but it would be interesting to see what people are valuing in their picks or if they've stuck to a genre etc. I will probably find myself arguing that Hendrix deserves a place in the top 10 but it won't be for technical skills.

Actually, thinking about I'm probably going to just go all in on blues players on the basis the rockers will probably rule the roost anyway.

But then again I've got Barney Kessel on in the background at the moment and he's f***king brill.

Too hard, tiny brain will explode.
