I think this is harder than the vocalist polls. I know it's a blind poll but it would be interesting to see what people are valuing in their picks or if they've stuck to a genre etc. I will probably find myself arguing that Hendrix deserves a place in the top 10 but it won't be for technical skills.

Actually, thinking about I'm probably going to just go all in on blues players on the basis the rockers will probably rule the roost anyway.

But then again I've got Barney Kessel on in the background at the moment and he's f***king brill.

My favourite 10 is relatively easy but there are quite a lot of candidates for the last couple of places. Almost all the people on my long list are rock guitarists.
