Was looking for something to watch over Christmas and came across the above. Jim White, an American singer, goes back to Louisiana. The documentary is around 15 years old but it is a cracking watch. The music is the highlight but it’s really interesting to see the poverty of the place, the folk stories, the odd christians and the amazing scenery.
I’ve watched it three times and really recommend it.

The night stalker on netflix. Very good. Astonishing but unsuprising how selfish the media can be, happy to risk more deaths in order to get a 'scoop'.
What an incredible man that detective was. Went to nam, came home, became a policeman, promoted to homicide then solved the night stalker. Really puts ones life in perspective.
