I’ve been watching back to back episodes of Hitlers Circle of Evil on PBS America. It starts the story back in 1919 post WW1 and right through to the end of WW2. Just on episode 4 and they are in 1933/34. It’s clear that Himmler, Goring and Goebbels had a major influence on the party and the policies. Particularly Himmler and Goebbels. Some shocking stuff, which isn’t unsurprising.

Give one man too much power surrounded by sycophantic yes men fighting between themselves for more power and it leads to horrors. So similar to what is going on now but from the opposite end of the political spectrum.

Watched this yesterday on the back of seeing the Strangeways Riot one last week, worth a watch for those interested in such stuff.

Absolutely brilliant, inspirational, eye opening documentary about a subject I shamefully know very little about. So glad I watched it and I think everyone else should!
