Must see documentaries..

One of my favourites, is a Vice YouTube documentary on being smuggled into North Korea. Its in 3 parts I think; it’s bonkers. First one is below - quite dated as I think I first saw it late 2000s / early 2010s.

Crackers though

Those older Vice documentaries are brilliant.

I remember watching one around 2010 about some farmers in a remote part of South America who shagged goats.

Like the gay shepherd who also kept mountin' goats

Which reminds me of the gay Aussie - preferred Sydney to Adelaide

The gay elf who attended goblin parties

The gay couple - Gerald Fitzherbert and Herbert Fitzgerald

The gay Army officer - Major Bumsore

The gay ghosts - kept putting the willies up each other

The gay cowboy - rode into town and shot up the sheriff

Apologies to anyone who's offended. Nothing personal.

I watched this a good few years ago and it is brilliant.

It’s definitely in the category of “if you don’t know the real story then don’t Google it beforehand”.

On the subject of music documentaries, the new Creedence Clearwater Revival doc on Nextflix is very good. About half the running time is a Jeff Bridges voiceover over old footage and some good “at the time” interviews with the band, followed by about 45 mins of live footage from the Albert Hall in 1970.
