Must see documentaries..

I don't have a dog in this fight, but all the Parkland doctors who treated Kennedy agreed the throat wound
was a frontal entry which they excised in order to perform a tracheotomy.Always puzzled me.
It was definitely an assassination. Who, how many, and why may never been known, but there’s no way in my mind that the Warren Commission did honest work.

For me, more than one shooter, not even sure LHO was one of them, Govt agencies involved, lies everywhere…

I was in Dallas a few years ago with a mate who was a munitions training officer in the forces and he was keen to
have a look around the Book Depository. You can go up to the sixth floor and although the "Oswald" window was cordoned off,the one next to it wasn't My mate spent a few minutes looking through it at things which meant nothng to me smiled to himself and said something like "load of bollocks"..My mate's grandad dealt with armaments procurement and after the rifle was found he said it was one of the most inaccurate "piles of shite" ever produced and the Italians coudn't give them away
after WWII.

The rifle is apparently not even the model LHO supposedly ordered. I believe they have the paperwork, but the rifle is a different model! I guess the stitch up wasn’t as good as they thought, but they fixed that with Ruby.

1) We got him!

2) Oops, someone killed him while in police custody in front of a crush of the media.

3) Well, at least we got him and now we don’t even have to have a pesky trial, with corroborated evidence and Defense Lawyers and stuff!

Watching the BBC documentaries about the 7/7 London tube and bus bombings in 2005.

Gripping from start to finish. Heartbreaking stories from the bereaved. The thing that really struck me was the people who were doing their jobs. The police officers, the firefighters etc.

The poor things who had to recover the bodies, often in bits. The sense of responsibility and duty was huge. They were so driven to give those who died their dignity. Excellent, incredible people. They saw the worst brutality but completed the job they were given.

I have no idea if these people were ever formally honoured but by god, they were heroes. The absolute best of us.

Must watch.
Just watched the episodes. Those poor people just going about their lives and yes, the sense of duty carried out by the Police and all the services was enormous.
The worst of society to even contemplate such atrocities and the best of human kind.
As you say, a must watch.

Slightly off topic and not a direct reply to you but to everyone interested really.
Didn't trump order the redaction of the remaining JFK files? Will we see anything interesting

By all accounts after Trump has taken a look and given the go ahead to release. These files will indeed state that Ted Cruz's dad was the culprit.

Doubt it given the way the FBI and CIA work.Seem to remember a documentary in the nineties or early 2 thousands
where investigators approached the FBI for material on JFK.They said that they had destroyed many items on the case
due to a chronic shortage of record storage space.Big thing for me is that apparently JFK stuff was initially classified
until twenty seventy something in the interests of national security, but if one deranged loon did it off the bat why was that necessary?

ps.Google is your friend.

Trying to be polite…….
It’s just such a lazy observation, though, isn’t it?

Yes, there are aspects to life here that are unique, and can be off-putting, but the freedom, choice of locations to live, work and play are enormous.

While many point to certain aspects of life here, they simply do not impact most Americans on most days, and maybe never.

Do I think the current President is a moron, who is going to radically change America, mostly for the worse? Absolutely! And, my job is to minimize those effects to the maximum extent possible until the pendulum swings back.

And, as you can see, I was joking, politely, about the spelling mistake. My typing is so bad that my posts would be almost unintelligible without the real-time Spellcheck feature!

The Munich massacre was very interesting. How the German/munich police messed it up. One of those things you watch and you are just left scratching your head at how the whole thing unfolded.

Who Is Luigi Mangione?, an hour-long documentary that dives into the life of the man accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
