Watched the latest 24 Hours in Police Custody last night about the Prosper family. It was a 2 parter. It's left a lasting impression on my mind but I can't help think that the guy should've been sectioned a lot earlier. He had no empathy whatsoever. Very chilling.

About 2 years ago I watched a docu/film about an American soldier who served in Vietnam, his name was Doss.
He was a pacifist and refused to carry a weapon.
In an impossible situation he rescued about 70 comrades from certain death.
This is just the bare bones of his story, but I have to say I was so moved by it that it has left an indelible memory in my mind.
Recommended.

Was world war 2 mate , lived to a ripe old age as well . Decent documentary and decent film in hacksaw ridge to celebrate his life

Thanks for that. I couldn't remember properly.
The part of the film where he was wounded yet kept on going back for more of his comrades really has stuck in my mind.

Watched the first couple of episodes of Once Upon a Time in Space. Great to have Russian involvement in this sort of programme as it really throws a different perspective on things. MIR really was in a mess when they started the cooperation with the Americans prior to the ISS getting underway.
