In 1980 YTV made one of the funniest TV documentaries ever. - Titled "Another Bloody Sunday", the TV crew followed Doncaster Rugby Football Club as they fought Sunday after another bloody Sunday to avoid going a whole season without winning a single game. There for the last four games of the season the documentary saw the team battle without success until the very last fixture of the season when, in an almost fairy tale ending, the Dons managed a 6 -- 3 win against Huyton to avoid a season long whitewash.

Memory may be playing tricks, as it was such a long time ago, but as far as I remember this was a great watch.- particularly when focusing on the Doncaster player coach, Geoff Fletcher's, absolutely hilarious, team-talks.
That sounds brilliant

Here you go guys, part 1.

King of Kong- About competative Donkey Kong arcade gamers

Sounds awful but I just could't turn it off the people in it are fascinating, I thought it was a spoof for the first half of it, but to my delight it wasn't

apparently a number 2 should be coming out because they battled after the documentary was made

It is a hilarious watch. I don't know if they are making a sequel, but I do know there were plans to make a movie based on the 2 characters and their escapades.
Billy is inadvertently hilarious from his looks to the way he talks
mitchell1.jpg

but the best person in it is the noncey looking one who was Billys right hand man so funny

Just finished watching it ... excellent throughout. An old fashioned tale of good versus evil. Who knew there could be such skullduggery and nepotism in the world of competitive computer gaming?

Follows kids over a school year who are being bullied. And interviews family and friends of some victims who had taken their own lives. Including an 11yo I think.
Documentary makers usually have to stand back and watch regardless to get their story. But are compelled to step in with one boy when they see the extent of his suffering.
Absolutely heartbreaking. Watched it on the flight home from Vegas last year. I was choking back tears. My mate fell apart in the opening bit. He eventually couldn't watch it. But it is sad, infuriating, and something that should help stop bullying. A compete must watch in my eyes. The levels that it takes and the ignorance of some teachers. One head teacher will have you in a rage. I wanted to slap her so hard for her what she put it down to.

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but 'Bowling for Columbine' by Michael Moore is worth a view

TBF anything by Michael Moore is well worth a watch. You seen any of his others Ammy?

Thanks for sharing, I fucking hated that Principle.

I've just seen a bit of "slaves in the cellar" on c5.
What exactly is PG, as in parental guidance?
It shown one of the walls in detail. It had hardcore pictures of women spreading open their private area's. Bit naughty that.

theres one on the history channel now i think called gangsters, specifically the one about Kuklinski, havent seen it but read his book (the ice man) absolutley fascinating

That was heartbreaking, but a must watch for any parent with kids in school.
I would have lost it with that principal, condescending bitch.

I have been enjoying these of late. Not a huge gridiron fan but they are so well put together.....

I was more pissed off with the makers of the film, found myself pretty much shouting at the screen wondering why they didnt just step in.

Yeah my mate told me in the pub last night that the american trailer gave away the twist? I am going to watch it without looking into it.

I am curious as I dont know the musician it is focused around, but I suppose this adds to it.

Where would the reality of what happens in many schools have come from, if they had of stopped what really goes on?
I am glad that they stepped in though with Alex.
Life is cruel and kids are very cruel, it is better to see the little fuckers in action, than to say it is all part of growing up. The kind of shit they do is not natural.
