I let my boy stay up late yesterday to watch the game. He sat in the house with a scarf, shirt, hat and flag. Asking questions on the game that just city fans know, why didn't we get a pen?, why is the ref a scum fan?
The joy and elation on his face when Tevez got us back in it.
And the tears in his eyes at the end of the game.
I told him to go to bed and he gave me a hug and I whisperd in his ear City ARE getting there we WILL win a final sooner rather than later unlike me (20/01/71 Born) I have waited sooooooooooo long, so keep your chin up and I'll take you to a game asap.
Its ACE being a city fan, I dont give a fuck if we dont win anything I just give a fuck about being a blue.

I live in the Isle of Man so aint so easy to get over there.
ALTHOUGH I AM FROM MANCHESTER(NEW MOSTON, NORTH MANCHESTER)

Fook it told my story, off now.......Well done!

reminds me a bit of me in '81, I went to the reply at the age of nine with my dad and was ok until we reached home in the early hours. We was met by my mum at the door at this point I burst into tears. My mum put me to bed and said "don't worry son, they will soon be there again". I just hope his wait isn't as long as mine!

My little lad is 7 and watched it at home while I went to the game. The missus told me he got a bit upset too so I had a good chat with him this morning.

Told him how I cried when Spuds beat us in 81 and how its these disappointments that give us blues strength of character.

The good thing is I don't think our kids are going to have to put up with the disasters we did. The tide really is turning. We still have a chance of something special this year in the FA Cup and if not it won't be long in coming.

Chin up blues were on the March

My lad is 13 we were at the swamp, he just couldnt hold back his disapointment when we went 2-0 down but boy he was over the moon when tevez struck only to be hit hard when the 3rd went in, he was unconsoulable. All this after getting hit by 2 coins when scum went 1 up luckily only hit his shoulder.

Forgot to mention he was proud as punch walking down warwick road in between all the scum with nothing else on other than his City top, one passer by said I wish I was as brave as you wearing your City top, he was buzzing

He never wants to step foot in the shit hole again now. He has taken it bad, keep seeing his eyes fill up must be reliving the mare. I told him we can now afford to go semi and final of FA cup at wembley, just hope we get the chance

Good work mate, you must have made him listen to that a few times good time ahead for that little fella.

forgot to mention i have 2 more boys 2.5years old called jack john(after John McGuiness)
and Nicklas Diego after the drug snorting south american genius!
They both wear there shirts and both say City when I point to the badge
And both of them stayed up for the game.

They are blue and will now always be blues no matter what.
