how do you know it's someone new? it could be Tevez arriving from Carrington after his medical after passing it ready for the press conference, but a billy bonus if im wrong (and i bloody hope so) but lets not get carried away and im fairly new to the forum and no one has called me a rag yet so maybe its time......

I can't see it being for someone new, the Club will want Tevez to have all the headlines firstly as he's a world class player, and secondly to rub it in to the rags even more! If we do get Adebayor I'd expect an announcement either later or tomorrow (or whenever we sign him!) and maybe a press conference before we go to SA, or once we're over there. Just a guess though

Calm down. The press conference is for Tevez only. It's a respect thing. He wouldn't be too happy sharing the limelight with another signing. But that's why we announced it last night before his medical was passed - we wanted to give him his time in the sun yesterday as we'll likely be unveiling - via the website - another signing today some time.

Apparently he's arrived a bit early and is at Mary D's right now, buying a blow up banana and one of those reversable leather belts.
He'll be over in 10 mins.

hink from a PR point of view double unveilings dont make sense but also from a PR point of view it would be a big thing for the african player of the year in 2008 to be on the tour. You would be surprised how many repica shirts you see round the townships (well at least in the cape) and I dont think I have ever seen a City one.
