My final Morrissey post. Ever.

I'm afraid that I have never liked either Morrissey or The Smurfs and this merely confirms my opinion of him.

I couldn't care less about who he supports or what he says or does or believes in, just listen to the music and enjoy! I was in my early teens when they first came out and wasn't my kind of music at all, thought it was depressing as fuck and only the weird kids at school liked them! I was wrong, The Smiths had everything, well written songs, fantastic music/musicians and a frontman that had such a gift as a performer. They never wanted the cool kids to like them, just the misfits and strays (and people that appreciated music)!The Smiths music went from sad, happy, funny, quirky songs or just letting people know that it was ok to be different! Get a couple of albums or even just the Greatest hits and LISTEN!

I just love the haters on here. The mere sight of a Morrissey thread has them crawling all over it repeating the same things they said in the last thread!

Maybe. But I can forgive Morrisey for being a **** as his music more than makes up for him being a bit crackers.
Gary Glitter is a **** who should never ever be forgiven.

Never like his music either, it's usually enjoyed by a certain age group who spent most of their teenage years crying themselves to sleep. TMQ is the exception of course, he's like The Terminator, he never sleeps.

I like the Smiths and Morrisey, yet I spent my teenage years getting twisted in nightclubs.

Hahaa Moz depicting himself as old yeller-face.
I went out drinking with Moz and his small entourage at The Bulls Head in Hale about 15 years ago.
He knew nothing about footbal, he was just a "Corrie man", though he was interested in the romance of this mythical "Georgie Boy" from the 60s.

I've been a lifelong fan of The Smiths and saw them a couple of times, unfortunately meeting your heroes and all that, it'll come as no surprise that Moz is a bit of a nob. He was into his ketamine back then and liked a spliff... so not all bad.
