go to your game folder found here: -

C:\Users\your username\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009

i created the following folders: -

within graphics folder (if there isn't a graphics folder....create one) create seperate folders called "backgrounds", "kits", "logos" & "players"

drop your backgrounds into backgrounds folder

drop your kits into kit folder

drop your team logos/club badges into logos

drop your player face packs into players

now start your game and go to options...then preferences....on the left hand side look for "display & sound" and click

now within the top section (window settings)...make sure "use skin cahe" is unticked & "always reload skin on confirm" is ticked

now look in the middle section (display settings)....make sure "show badges/logos" is ticked and make sure "show backgrounds" is ticked

confirm and away you go :)

won the league cup 4 times on the run, got knocked out in semi's by villa.

1st in league think i'm in 2013/14 season

won euro cup last season.

not won fa cup ever!!! can't seem to do well. think this season is my prem trophy 20 games gone and lvl on points with the arse and 1 point ahead of utd!

I got Grimsby to the prem in consectutive seasons. 18th in 3 games. Drew to Liverpool first game at home but then lost to City and West Ham. When being a lower team, all you have to do is concentrate on getting loan signings. Vlad Weiss was a star for me ;). Reccomended players for lower league teams are Tom Heaton, Migeul Cevasco, Migeul Rebosio, Steven Kabba and Ryan Bennet.

my team is:

How much is the game? And is it easy to play?

15quid or so on Amazon mate. Easy to play but hard to master.

Also depends how you define easy, probably pretty easy to clean the board with the scum or Chelsea, much harder to win some silverware with Oldham though or get Hyde into the premier league. That's the beauty of the game, you can set your own goals.

I've always found it a little too easy in the past with City although I did go through a phase of saving it prior to important games and endlessly replaying that game until I won. These days I only reload in the event of a long term injury.

had this game about a week now, plays really slow on lap top (waiting for other results to process) bit faster on desktop but still not half as fast as fm08. Any suggestions on how to speed it up would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
