really feel sorry for the guy, i hope he gets it sorted.

he seems a nice chap and is staying positive. some doctor should just help him out, no-one should have to go through that.

Makes you appreciate the NHS!

I had a similar ache/pain in my right nut last year and when I went to the docs he said it was related to my back muscles ( I have a history of back problems)... They go round to the groin. Take some pain killers (codeine) and do some (gentle) back stretches.

Just to reassure you, testicular cancer is painless.

But if it's still sore after a few days go see the doctor...

Actually this makes sense, I have a shoulder problem related to my neck and it is all down to my core muscles.

Was not too worried about the cancer thing because there are no lumps but I went on NHS direct and after a few questions was told to go toe A&E....bollocks to that at this time of night. (Excuse the pun)

Feel sorry for the BigMan in the story...I wonder if he has ever been on a train in Scotland?

Could be a testicular torsion if it persists. That feels like a permanent kick in the bollocks, very painful. Go to see your Doctor if it persists.

First glances i thought it was a new film title starring Daniel Day Lewis.

Painful testicle could be cancer. To be on the safe side I'd ask on a few more football forums just to be sure.

It's the only proven way to get a decent answer. everyone knows that.

I suffered something similar a couple of years ago and feared it was testicular cancer.
I went to the docs and was told it was a condition (can't remember what it's called)
A piss sample was taken to check I didn't have a dose or anything and I was given some tablets. It took a couple of months but the pain eventually disappeared

The doc did reassure me by saying if it was cancer, the testicle would be enlarged

Just go and see your doc mate, put your mind at rest.. When i was 13 i found a lump in my bagsack. Just left it as i was 13 and didnt no what to do.. After about a week or so it was massive and i crap myself. SO i told the old fella, you can rest assure my owd man rushed me to the hospital and found out i had a sist ( if that is how you spell them ) luckly for me stayed in hospital and they got rid of the thing through a drip and what have you.....

My mrs family have had loads of breast cancer, so she gets checked loads and goes on at me all the time about checking my tools....

Doctor set your mind at rest... Thats the best advice you wil get.. Nothing worse than something not feeling right inside you and being a bloke and keeping it to yourself...
