Is 100x more effective as a sub and is one of the few that can change things as a sub when we can't get through a packed defence

He's a Championship player. Like most at that level, he's more than capable of flashes of brilliance but can't do it anywhere near consistently. I actually think he's gone backwards since coming to the club. He started with no fear and always tried to beat the full-back. These days he opts for the simple pass rather than try to beat a man. Simple passes aren't enough EVERY time.

Couldn't understand why AJ was withdrawn - he looked man most likely in the 2nd half. NDJ should have been the one to go.................The horror of it was to see that fool Kolarov come on 5 mins later - when we were looking to win!

As far as Johnson goes, i think people are too hard on him. he's not world class, but a very good player. The thing with wingers is that they are the most inconsistent players in general. its the hardest position to shine all the time. How many consistent wingers is there in the league?
How many wingers can beat his 6 goals and 3 assist with similar game time? Its easy to say get rid of him and some people have simply too high expectations on the players. You cant have 25 world class players. And I really cant see how City can get better wide man who is willing to sit on the bench
Micah has a beef with Capello. Any sane person in this country would tell you he is the best right back in the countru. When AJ was forced to stay wide, under instruction from Mancini, he had nowhere to go, got no service & had no one to cross to if he did get the ball. We were shit. When he was allowed to come inside, we were totally dominating the game, looking like scoring, playing good football & AJ was at the heart of it, so Bob took him off.

Worries me a little how rarely Adam attempts to beat the man and try to whip in a cross. Persistently cutting in on his favoured left foot and taking a shot recently has been ineffective and defenders are starting to catch on.

We don't have time for this type of thing anymore. We must have 11 players that are consistent in application and performance. However good he or any other player is, they have to be that good in an overwhelming number of games.
Any player that cannot perform at optimum more often than not, and is incapable of creditable performances in similar and less familiar areas or positions when called upon must ever feel the breath of a credible threat breathing down his neck.
